. Captain Scott Townsend is a native Floridian who was born and raised right here in Bradenton Florida, He grew up fishing on the waters of Tampa Bay since he was a young boy. Capt. Scott specializes in inshore fishing with light tackle and near-shore fishing with medium-light tackle.
No matter what you want to catch; snook, redfish ,tarpon, trout, sharks, or other species, Captain Scott has the local knowledge and years of experience to put you on memorable fish with consistency.
Captain Scott also participates in many local tournaments. Such as the Desoto Hernando Fishing tournament, Pete Turner Memorial, the HBA and SBA home builder tournaments. And has won or placed very high on a consistent basis throughout the years.
When Captain Scott is not fishing, you will still find him close to the water. Where he enjoys spending time with his wife, Debbie, and two kids Ty and Neeva. He also coaches Boys Basketball at Bradenton Christian High School, which he finds to be very rewarding helping to mold young men.
